The "BIG MOHAWK II" was the largest charter boat to sail from Sheepshead Bay at the time, and was owned and operated by partners Captain Tony 'Mo' Barbato and Captain Dan Kenny. 2HOLIDAY Advertising Card – 1979 A postcard advertising bluefishing aboard Captain Jack Endean's party boat "HOLIDAY" circa 1979. Lydia Yachts of Stuart, FL built the "HOLIDAY" for Captain Jack in 1974. The well-known Captain Jack owned and operated many party boats during his long career including the "FRISCO", the "DAUNTLESS", the "MISS POINT PLEASANT", the "MISS POINT PLEASANT II", the "RANGER" and a long line of boats all named the "HOLIDAY".

4HAPPY Business Card, Atlantic Highlands, NJ – 1981 The "HAPPY" was the premier half–day party fishing boat from Atlantic Highlands, NJ at the time and Captain Tom Buban manned the helm. Gillikin Boat Works built this wood boat in 1962 at Harkers Island, NC as the "BLUE HERON".

14BROOKLYN BRIDGE Magazine Cover, Brooklyn, NY – 1995 This 1995 copy of Brooklyn Bridge Magazine featured a nice photo of the "BROOKLYN V" from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY. The cover photo illustrated the issue's feature story on how the Sheepshead Bay party boat fleet had changed throughout the years, and despite fewer fish and harsher regulations, had survived the test of time. Alas, the top-notch Brooklyn Bridge Magazine did not survive and is no longer published.
