We don't know the name of this Sheepshead Bay, NY angler, but the back of this 1957 photo says the Bluefin tuna he caught aboard a charter boat weighed a whopping 647 pounds. My, how times have changed… and so has the fishing tackle. The 'widow-maker' fishing rod he used could also be used for Olympic pole vaulting.
