TAMPA V, Brooklyn, NY – 1974 Gulf Craft Inc. built the "TAMPA V" for Captains Rocky and Victor Becker. She is shown here shortly after her construction was completed in February 1974, as she was prepared for delivery to Brooklyn, NY. She was the first Gulf Craft party boat to join the Sheepshead Bay fleet, and immediately became the fastest vessel from that port since she cruised at more than 20 knots. With her modern and sleek design, combined with size and speed, she became a moving endorsement for Gulf Craft Inc. in the New York area. Sold in 1977 to Captain Joe Miller, she became his "ATOMIC II" from Sheepshead Bay. She then became the whale watching tour boat "RANGER IV" from Provincetown, MA and then sailed as the "BIG FLAMINGO" from Wildwood, NJ. She then returned to party boat fishing as the "GULF STREAM" from North Carolina. She finally made her way back to the New York Bight and is presently sailing as the "MISS BELMAR PRINCESS" from Belmar, NJ. Photo courtesy of Scotty Tibbs II and Gulf Craft Inc.
