STARSTREAM II, Freeport, NY – 1974 Gulf Craft Inc. built Captain Richie Kessinger's "STARSTREAM II" in 1974, and she is shown in this photo making a speedy trial run along Bayou Teche. Similar to other Gulf Craft built party boats of the era, a pair of 12-cylinder Detroit Diesel turbocharged diesel engines allowed her to cruise at 20 knots with ease. During her Long Island tenure, she specialized in summer blue fishing, and fall and winter offshore wreck fishing. She was sold in 1998 and became the "MISS BELMAR" from Belmar, NJ for a short time period, and is currently sailing as the "FLYING FISH" from Sarasota, FL.
