CAPT WAYNE, Captree, NY – 2007
After a hiatus of almost thirty years, a party boat named "CAPT WAYNE" is back at Captree. Brothers Lee and Wayne Westerlind purchased this vessel last winter and after some repairs and a coat of fresh paint, she joined the fleet this spring. Built in 1972, she was the first boat built by East Bay Boat Works (Gillikin). Originally sailing as the "CAPT. BOB", she later sailed as the "WHITE STAR", the "THUMPER", and the "LADY TRACEY ANN" before becoming the "CAPT WAYNE". The boat is presently sailing as Captain Walter Czekaj's "FISHFINDER II" from Captree, NY. Photo courtesy of Lee Westerlind.
