MISS BARNEGAT LIGHT, Barnegat Light, NJ – 1972
The steel-hulled "MISS BARNEGAT LIGHT" sailing from Barnegat Light, NJ circa 1972 and skippered by Captain John Larson. The same boat builder also made the "CAPTAIN AL". (Yes, they look very similar – New Bern Shipyards only built two party boats, the rest of their creations were commercial dragger boats and ferries.) In 1974, Captain Larson converted her into a commercial 'longliner' fishing boat and renamed her as the "LORI L" and still owns her today.
