JAMIACA, Brielle, NJ – 1971
The 118-foot "JAMAICA" from Brielle, NJ circa 1971. She was operated by Captain Howard Bogan Sr. Built in 1970 by Blount Marine, Warren, RI; she had a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. In 1977, shortly after the new 125-foot "JAMAICA" was launched, she was renamed "PARAMOUNT II". Today, she is Captain Francis Bogan's "ATLANTIS" and is the largest charter and long-range fishing boat operating in New Jersey. Photo courtesy of Captain Dave Bogan Sr.
