ALBERTA L., Anglesea, NJ – 1906 The "ALBERTA L." from Mace's Pier at Anglesea, NJ circa 1906. Built in 1903 at Vineland, NJ, she was one of the many gasoline-powered sloops to go to the fishing banks on a daily schedule. She was built as a sailing vessel and still had her masts and sails, but relied on her engine for propulsion.
