Published in 1926 by the New York Herald Tribune, this recipe book was a compilation of seafood recipes provided by the captains of the Sheepshead Bay fishing fleet. The sample page on the right shows recipes for the local fare… broiled and fried cod, plus several recipes for… codfish balls. A good deal (and a good meal) for a mere 15¢.
