GIRALDA Fishing Sinker – 1930 A fishing sinker from the "GIRALDA", Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY. This sinker dates from the 1930s and a diver recovered it from the "Sea Bright Grounds". During the 1920s and 1930s, it was popular for party boats to personalize their fishing sinkers. Many inscribed their sinker molds with the name of the vessel or its Captain (or sometimes both.)
