SCOTLAND No. 11 LIGHTSHIP – 1915 The "Scotland Lightship No. 11" standing guard in 1915 at the Scotland Grounds shoal near the junction of Ambrose and Sandy Hook channels. She was built in 1853 as the "Nantucket New South Shoal Lightship". She served as the Scotland lightship from 1902 to her retirement on October 30, 1925.
