LADY ELISE, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ – 1991
A rare photo of Captain Bob Pennington's "LADY ELISE" circa 1991. Captain Bob had this vessel built by Lydia Yachts at Stuart, FL in 1977 as his "SEA DEVIL". In 1990 he had Lydia Yachts build a larger "SEA DEVIL" as a replacement. When the new boat was launched, and in an effort not to own two boats with the same name, Captain Bob renamed the old boat as the "LADY ELISE" in honor of his daughter. Soon after this photo was taken the "LADY ELISE" was sold and became the "QUEEN MARY" from Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. The "QUEEN MARY" was sold in 2017 and will start fishing in 2018 as Captain Chris Whitton's "LADY K" from Onset, MA. The photo is courtesy of Captain Bob Pennington.
