Captains 'Jake' and 'Chubby' Martin, GLORY, Brooklyn, NY – 1937 The father and son team of Captains Jacob 'Jake' Martin Sr. and Jacob 'Chubby' Martin Jr. aboard the "GLORY" in Miami, Florida circa 1937. The "GLORY" sailed from Miami during the winter months back in the 1930's and Captain 'Jake' took a break from a cold Brooklyn winter to join his son for a 'Busman's Holiday'.
